As a key member of the management team, the individual will oversee the daily kitchen operations, leading culinary staff and all food-related functions to ensure seamless execution. The incumbent will supervise all kitchen departments to maintain consistently high-quality outputs, mentor and develop staff, and uphold strict sanitation and food safety standards. Candidate Profile: Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, along with a minimum of four years of experience in culinary, food and beverage, or a related field. Alternatively, a two-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related discipline, combined with two years of relevant experience, will be considered. Core Responsibilities: The position involves managing kitchen shifts to ensure compliance with all Food & Beverage policies, standards, and procedures. This includes estimating and communicating daily production needs, assisting the Executive Chef with operations, and preparing meals for regular service or special events. The role encourages innovation in menu development, presentation, and food displays while maintaining purchasing, receiving, and storage protocols. The individual will enforce food handling and sanitation regulations, verify product quality, and ensure equipment functionality. Leadership responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, leading shifts with hands-on participation, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance team environment. The role requires strong interpersonal skills to mentor, motivate, and guide employees, uphold company policies, and address performance expectations. The incumbent will also prioritize guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional service, resolving issues, and empowering staff to meet customer needs. Additional duties include setting and achieving operational goals, scheduling staff efficiently, training employees on safety protocols, and participating in performance evaluations. The individual will communicate effectively with leadership, peers, and subordinates, analyze challenges, and implement solutions.
