The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of personnel, goods, or company assets while ensuring vehicles are maintained in excellent working condition and all road safety regulations are strictly observed. Key Responsibilities Safely transport staff, executives, clients, or goods to designated locations. Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off while planning efficient travel routes. Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips. Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned vehicles. Report vehicle faults promptly and coordinate routine servicing and repairs. Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, mileage, maintenance, and expenses. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies. Monitor vehicle documentation, ensuring licences, insurance, and other statutory documents remain valid. Assist with loading and unloading items where necessary. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and courteous conduct at all times. Respond appropriately to emergencies, accidents, or vehicle breakdowns. Carry out any other transportation-related duties assigned by management. Requirements Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE). Valid Nigerian Driver’s Licence. 3–5 years of professional driving experience in a corporate organization, logistics company, or similar environment. Good knowledge of Lagos road networks, traffic regulations, and alternative routes. Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physically fit with excellent eyesight and hearing. Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and professionalism. Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required. Applicants must not be more than 45 years of age. Skills & Competencies: Defensive driving skills. Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations. Time management and punctuality. Vehicle maintenance awareness. Good customer service and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail. Problem-solving and sound judgment. High level of discipline and confidentiality. Preferred Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate is a dependable, safety-conscious professional with a proven driving record, excellent knowledge of Lagos routes, and a commitment to delivering reliable transportation services.
