Program Background Climate Resilient Communities (CRC) supports implementation of the Australian Government's climate change commitments under Australia's International Development Policy , in line with partner government priorities. CRC supports the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to increase climate investments, drive climate integration, and better address climate change and disaster risk across Australia’s development portfolio. CRC incentivises funding towards gender-responsive, inclusive climate and disaster resilience programming, particularly in the water, food, nature-based solutions, and energy sectors. DFAT has engaged DT Global to support the implementation of CRC through a Support Unit.

For more information, please see www.dt-global.com The Role The Senior Program Support Manager will support the DFAT Climate Resilient Communities (CRC) team in the delivery of Australia's flagship climate change program and its associated co-funded investments. The role contributes to the integration of climate change across Australia's international development program by coordinating climate-related initiatives, facilitating access to technical climate advice, supporting capacity uplift and climate learning activities, and fostering cross-program engagement. You are a highly organised and proactive program management professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments. You bring demonstrated experience managing large and complex budgets, preferably within international development, government or donor-funded programs, and have a strong ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. You are comfortable working with systems, reporting processes and governance requirements, you are equally confident analysing information, managing risk and ensuring accountability across multiple workstreams.

You are a relationship builder who enjoys working across teams and stakeholders to deliver shared outcomes. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you can engage effectively with government counterparts, investment managers, technical advisers and delivery partners, building trusted relationships and facilitating collaboration. Your sound judgement, initiative and professionalism enable you to respond flexibly to emerging priorities while maintaining a strong focus on results and service delivery. Experience within the Australian Public Service and/or international development program will be highly regarded, as will exposure to climate change, resilience or broader development sectors in the Indo-Pacific. Above all, you are committed to inclusive and ethical development practice, with an understanding of Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI), safeguarding and integrity principles. You are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to Australia's flagship climate change initiatives and help strengthen climate integration across the development portfolio.
