JOB DIMENSIONS The client, having completed a successful audit and initiated commissioning activities with subcontractors, is expanding its commissioning team for the EACOP project. This role, as the Electrical Commissioning Supervisor, will involve overseeing commissioning tasks carried out by contractors and local personnel, guaranteeing the safe, compliant, and efficient implementation of electrical systems commissioning. Oversee on-site electrical commissioning operations to ensure proper functionality and adherence to specifications. Diligently oversee contractors to ensure adherence to established project procedures and compliance standards, maintaining meticulous oversight throughout the engagement. Review commissioning dossiers, test procedures, and technical documentation to verify compliance with established standards and project specifications. Provide guidance and assistance to local teams while facilitating the seamless transfer of knowledge to ensure consistency and operational excellence. Oversee interactions and coordination with construction, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and operational alignment.

• Maintain adherence to HSE regulations and client-specific standards to uphold safety and quality benchmarks.
• Provide regular updates on the status of commissioning activities, including any technical challenges encountered. SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES Verification of the operational status and integrity of electrical installations and systems is required. Witnessing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), loop verification, and functional testing activities ensures compliance with established protocols and verifies system performance prior to deployment. Provide assistance with energization initiatives to ensure successful implementation and coordination of power activation tasks. Review punch lists and address any outstanding close-out actions to ensure all project deliverables meet specified standards before final approval. Coordinate priorities for commissioning efforts in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and operational requirements. Mentors less experienced local staff members to enhance their skills and contribute to their professional development. The position involves overseeing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies. Responsibilities include risk assessments, incident investigations, safety training, and implementing preventive measures to mitigate workplace hazards. You will conduct regular inspections, monitor environmental impact, and maintain accurate records of safety protocols.
