The VENN department serves as the foundational data and technology infrastructure within our organization, seamlessly integrating advanced analytics and tailored software solutions with practical field execution to facilitate informed decision-making across all levels. The Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in enhancing RTV’s data-driven strategies by collecting, managing, analyzing, and reporting high-quality data to guide informed decision-making, optimize program performance, and assess outcomes and impact. In collaboration with program, Monitoring, Evaluation and Applied Learning, and Product Development teams, this position ensures that data is relevant, accurate, reliable, and leveraged effectively for performance tracking, organizational learning, accountability, and evidence-based decision-making. Responsibilities include providing technical expertise in data collection planning, questionnaire design, data quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation, research, and impact assessment. The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, a deep comprehension of monitoring and evaluation frameworks and methodologies, advanced skills in data visualization and reporting, and the proficiency to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights tailored to diverse stakeholders.   • Diagnose and rectify data quality discrepancies to guarantee the provision of reliable, high-caliber data essential for informed decision-making processes. We seek a highly skilled professional who meets the following criteria: a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the field, a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a related discipline, and proficiency in industry-standard software and tools. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Prior leadership or project management experience is preferred, as is a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Quantitative Economics, Data Science, or a closely related quantitative field is required. A postgraduate degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Project Planning and Management, or an allied discipline would be advantageous. With a minimum of three years of professional tenure in data management, analytics, monitoring and evaluation, research, or closely related disciplines, you bring a solid foundation of experience to this role. Technical qualifications encompass expertise in specific programming languages, frameworks, and tools pertinent to the role, along with proficiency in software development methodologies, system architectures, and troubleshooting techniques. Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience with relevant technologies to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of technical solutions. Familiarity with industry best practices, version control systems, and collaborative development platforms is essential.
