FINANCE CONTROLLER – TLP PROJECT We are seeking a seasoned Finance Controller to oversee financial operations for the TLP Project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, and a solid understanding of regulatory compliance are essential. Responsibilities include managing financial planning, analyzing financial data, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. The successful applicant will demonstrate exceptional analytical abilities, leadership qualities, and the capacity to drive financial efficiency within the project. A relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, ARCA) and prior experience in project finance are highly advantageous. The Tailings Leach Plant (TLP) represents a pivotal initiative with substantial potential for professional development and career advancement. To facilitate this expansion, we seek a dynamic, results-oriented professional to assume the following position: MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Developing and managing the project budget in alignment with the defined work packages and orders to ensure financial resources are allocated effectively. Developing a cash flow requirement forecast for the project by analyzing the project timeline and incorporating the commercial terms and conditions outlined in the contracts and purchase orders (POs). Process invoices upon receiving the necessary approvals, then ensure prompt payment release in accordance with contractual terms. Collaborate closely with the CFO overseeing Growth Projects and the financial team at KCM to verify that cash flow aligns with project timelines and forecasting. Evaluate tax obligations and verify adherence to all relevant compliance requirements. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS A degree in finance or accounting is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Chartered Accountant (CA) designation.
