The internship at the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) in Dakar focuses on supporting communication activities through visual content production, graphic design, and event coverage. Interns will assist in photography, video editing, and creating infographics and social media visuals. This unpaid position requires full-time commitment for a duration of 3-6 months. Candidates will work under the supervision of UNIC’s Director and contribute to enhancing the visibility of UN messages and initiatives. Enrolled in or completed a graduate program or final year of a bachelor's degree Good knowledge of standard software applications, especially Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut, InShot, VN, and MS Teams Skills in filming and camera work Ability to draft news articles and social media posts Basic knowledge of graphic design and visual content creation tools Interest in photography and digital communication Fluency in French; knowledge of another UN language is desirable
