Job Description Job Purpose Zonda Tec Ghana limited, a leader in the assembling, sales and servicing of commercial vehicles in Ghana, is looking to hire a Welder. As a successful hire, you will be tasked with joining, repairing, and fabricating metal components for vehicles. Role Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. Perform MIG, TIG, arc, or gas welding on automotive frames, panels, exhaust systems, and other components. Repair damaged vehicle parts by cutting, shaping, and welding metal. Operate welding equipment, grinders, and cutting tools safely and efficiently. Inspect welds for quality, strength, and compliance with safety standards. Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow all workplace safety protocols and PPE requirements. Required Skills or Experience HND qualification with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role A completed apprenticeship or vocational training A relevant certificate from a welding association may be required Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, Gas). Excellent stamina, strength and dexterity Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure Sound understanding of welding safety Willingness to learn and work overtime when required.
