About Zipline Zipline is the world’s largest and most experienced drone delivery service. We are on a mission to serve all humans equally by ensuring access to food, medicine and essential goods anytime, anywhere. We design, build, and operate the world’s largest autonomous logistics system, delivering critical supplies quickly and reliably. Today, Zipline operates on four continents, makes a delivery somewhere in the world every 30 seconds, and has completed millions of deliveries to date, including blood, vaccines, medical supplies, food, and retail products. Our customers include the world’s largest and most prominent healthcare systems, governments, retailers, restaurants and global businesses who rely on us to save lives, reduce emissions, increase economic opportunity, and provide delivery from point A to point B as fast as possible. The drone is only 15% of what we’ve built to enable seamless, reliable, global operations. Our system strengthens supply chains, reduces congestion, and gives people time back. With more than 140 million commercial autonomous miles safely flown, Zipline is redefining access to healthcare, consumer products, and food across the globe. We operate at a global scale and are looking for practical problem solvers who thrive on real-world challenges and rapid growth. Our team is motivated by building systems that have a direct, meaningful impact on people’s lives and by scaling the future of logistics. We are seeking people who sculpt from first principles, enjoy facing adversity, and can do the impossible at record breaking speeds. About You And The Role As a Dual Operator, you will support both fulfillment operations and flight operations, helping ensure that medical, blood, and animal health products are delivered safely, accurately, and on time. This role is designed to build strong operational flexibility by cross-training operators in core warehouse activities and drone launch and recovery operations. You will be trained through Zipline Academy to perform routine warehouse tasks as well as flight operations. This is a hands-on role suited for individuals who are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and motivated to support high-quality operations in a fast-paced environment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following SOPs and daily checklists. Flight Operations Support launch and recovery execution by preparing Zips, performing launch and recovery procedures, and ensuring all activities follow standard operating procedures. Conduct pre- and post-flight safety checks, identify operational risks, and escalate off-nominals through ticketing systems and shift team handover. Monitor in-flight operations using Fleetdeck and report off-nominals as required. Assist with routine operational readiness tasks related to flight activities. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Flight Operators, Fulfillment teams, and the Centralized Call Center (CCC) to align on daily priorities and maintain smooth operations. Participate in incident response activities, including retrieval support, root cause analysis, and resolution, working across teams as needed. Communicate issues clearly and escalate risks promptly through established ticketing and reporting channels to maintain operational reliability. Continuous Improvement & Team Culture Actively contribute to operational improvement by identifying inefficiencies, sharing feedback, and supporting problem resolution and corrective actions. Support continuous improvement projects that strengthen Zipline’s operations as we scale, including warehouse optimization, quality initiatives, and cross-team efforts to improve efficiency. Support a strong team culture by participating in training, knowledge sharing, and peer coaching, and by embodying Zipline’s values in every shift.
