Le projet
This is an opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art landmark project in Rwanda. Mace have been delivering PMC services on major aviation projects for several years, increasing passenger capacity and improving overall services.
Vous serez responsable de
Manage day-to-day delivery oversight of MEP installation contracts, covering HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire systems, and standby power. Review and challenge MEP contractor short-term programmes; identify and escalate risks to the Senior MEP Manager. Review MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and technical data sheets; coordinate approval process with the MEP design consultant. Enforce quality compliance on MEP installations: manage ITP hold points, witness testing, and issue NCRs for non-compliant work. Manage interfaces between MEP contractors and civil, structural, and special systems works; resolve clashes and sequencing conflicts. Monitor long-lead equipment delivery schedules against programme; flag delays and mitigation options. Chair MEP co-ordination meetings with contractors and designers; maintain an active RFI and technical query log. Oversee pre-commissioning activities, system flushing, and statutory testing prior to commissioning handover. Contribute to monthly progress reporting with accurate MEP progress data and commentary.
Vous devez avoir
Minimum 10 years’ MEP construction management experience on major building or infrastructure projects. Technical competence across at least two MEP disciplines (M&E, E&I, or M&P); able to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications. Experience managing MEP interfaces on complex multi-package projects; airport or transport infrastructure experience preferred. Familiar with MEP commissioning processes and testing requirements. Degree or HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; professional membership preferred. Experience in Sub-Saharan Africa or challenging supply chain environments advantageous.
