The Senior Specialist for Employers' Activities in Dakar will manage technical activities and provide high-level advisory services to enhance the relationship between the ILO and Employer, Business and Membership Organizations (EBMOs). This role involves developing strategies and policies to support EBMOs in meeting the needs of enterprises and ensuring that employers' views are represented in ILO policies. The incumbent will lead various initiatives, coordinate programs, and facilitate partnerships to advance the Decent Work Agenda. The position requires a high level of autonomy and accountability in managing resources and achieving strategic objectives. Advanced degree in economics, business, law, or social sciences At least ten years of experience in employers' organizations or development cooperation Excellent command of French or English Strong knowledge of EBMOs and labor-related policies Technical leadership and managerial skills Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills Ability to build strategic partnerships Experience in capacity building of EBMOs
