Applicants must have an earned PhD in Administrative Dispute Resolution Law from a recognised university, at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level or research/industry as Lecturer, a Master’s degree in Administrative Dispute Resolution Law from a recognised university, a minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent (at least sixteen (16) from refereed journals), supervised a minimum of two (2) post-graduate students to completion as a Lecturer, be registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable), and have the minimum points required for each activity.

Grants Officer – Ref: EU/DVC/ARE/2026/0707 Full Time. Qualifications: MBA/MSc/MA. Experience: 3 years. Location: Nairobi. Job Field: Project and Program Management. Reporting to Director, Research and Extension, the Grants Officer will strengthen Egerton University’s capacity for resource mobilization, grants acquisition, and grants management by coordinating pre-award and post-award grant processes, ensuring donor compliance, supporting academic staff in proposal development, and contributing to the achievement of the University Strategic Plan. Applicants must have a Master’s degree in Project Management, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Development Studies, or a related field, at least three (3) years’ experience in grants management, research administration, or donor-funded project coordination in an international organization, demonstrated experience in proposal development and donor reporting in an international organization, familiarity with national and international research funders (NRF, EU, USAID, WorldBank, Foundations), and the ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
