The Partnerships & Fundraising Officer plays a pivotal role in strengthening MCP’s capacity to drive greater impact by fostering critical relationships and securing essential resources. In close collaboration with the Partnerships Lead and cross-functional teams, the Officer will strategically identify and nurture partnerships with institutional donors, NGOs, foundations, corporate entities, and key stakeholders, ensuring MCP’s long-term sustainability and growth. This role presents a prime opportunity to cultivate expertise in alliance-building, business expansion initiatives, stakeholder relations, fundraising strategies, and nonprofit organizational growth within an internationally recognized youth-led organization. You will report directly to the Partnerships Lead. This fully remote, volunteer role requires approximately 3 to 5 hours of your time each week.

Conduct thorough research to identify prospective partners, sponsors, funders, and advocates whose objectives align with the mission of MCP. Foster strategic alliances with various organizations and institutions to drive mutually beneficial initiatives. Collaborate with team members to research and evaluate potential grant, funding, and sponsorship opportunities that align with MCP’s objectives. Assist in developing funding proposals, expressions of interest, and donor correspondence to secure financial support. Maintain accurate documentation of partnership engagements and fundraising initiatives within MCP’s designated systems. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams spanning THINK, DELIVER, and ENGAGE to uncover strategic partnership opportunities and advance key organizational initiatives. Enhance MCP’s fundraising initiatives by proposing innovative strategies to broaden revenue streams and ensure long-term organizational viability.
