Pothawira Health Center Pothawira Health Center is located in the Salima District, approximately two miles from Msangu Market along the Senga Bay Road. The facility comprises a general outpatient clinic, a dedicated birthing unit, and a newly established state-of-the-art surgical center. Together, these services provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across a full spectrum of medical and surgical needs. Our surgical center is designed to deliver exceptional peri-operative care in an environment that is safe, efficient, and compassionate. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive obstetric care including prenatal care, labor and delivery management, and postpartum care. Deliver expert gynecological services including annual exams, contraceptive counseling, and preventive care Diagnose and manage complex gynecologic conditions: uterine fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, and menopausal disorders etc Perform diagnostic procedures including ultrasounds, colposcopies, Pap tests, and on-site laboratory testing Evaluate and manage infertility cases with appropriate specialist referrals Maintain detailed, accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Requirements for qualification: Bachelor of Science in obstetrics and gynecology from a recognized institution

Expérience

At least 2+ years of work experience in a good setting within or outside Malawi In good standing with Medical Council of Malawi. Apply Now
