Speak Zambia Limited is actively seeking a skilled Electronic Electrical Mechanic to join our team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems, machinery, and control units to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Diagnose and resolve electrical and electronic faults by employing suitable testing equipment. Conduct routine, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal operation of equipment and systems. Conduct thorough examinations of electrical wiring, motors, control panels, circuit boards, sensors, and electronic components to detect any defects. Inspect, troubleshoot, and restore or replace faulty components, wiring, switches, relays, motors, circuit boards, and control devices to ensure optimal functionality. Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and equipment manuals to extract critical information. Test, verify, and validate the functionality of electrical and electronic systems following installation or repair procedures. Install and maintain motors, variable speed drives (VSDs), PLC-controlled equipment, instrumentation, and automation systems as required. Maintain detailed documentation of all maintenance tasks, repair work, inspections conducted, and equipment performance metrics. Compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and established company maintenance procedures must be strictly ensured. Address equipment malfunctions without delay to mitigate interruptions in production schedules. Responsibilities include ensuring the upkeep of tools, testing equipment, and spare parts inventory to maintain optimal operational condition. Collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and contractors to meet maintenance goals.
