We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning within the Cambridge Curriculum. The successful candidate will work closely with the lead teacher to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment while supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development. Key Responsibilities Support the lead teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering classroom activities. Assist in implementing lessons aligned with the Cambridge Curriculum. Provide individual and small-group support to students to enhance learning outcomes. Help maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment. Supervise students during classroom activities, breaks, and school events as required. Assist with the preparation of teaching resources, displays, and learning materials. Monitor student participation and progress, providing feedback to the lead teacher. Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities. Requirements Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within the Cambridge Curriculum (mandatory). Relevant teaching qualification or certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good classroom management and organizational skills. Passion for supporting teaching and learning. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Preferred Experience in an international school setting. Familiarity with Cambridge Assessment International Education programmes. Strong ICT skills for supporting teaching and learning. Sharing is Caring!
