About the Role The IT Operations Intern serves as a technically proficient service provider within the Country IT Operations Team, with a primary emphasis on endpoints and networks. Responsibilities CITO Operation and Management Ensure compliance with all CITY-established policies, procedures, and guidelines. Resolves Tier 2 Technical incidents and service requests, encompassing endpoints, networks, and other related areas, in adherence to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Ensure adherence to established protocols for endpoint devices, including laptops and tablets, as well as network systems. Ensure seamless execution of IT support operations, including endpoint maintenance, inventory data cleanup, performance testing, and related tasks. Oversee and manage CCTV and GPS surveillance systems. Project management responsibilities include overseeing low to medium-complexity projects, with potential ownership of such initiatives. Execute IT projects with excellence, ensuring timely and punctual completion. Independently establish comprehensive project scope, identify critical milestones, and develop detailed timelines to ensure structured and measurable project execution. Follow Tech standard PMP Establish and delineate specific responsibilities and accountabilities for all project team members to ensure clarity and accountability. Technical leads within the IT Operations division are responsible for overseeing and guiding technical teams to ensure the efficient delivery of IT services. They play a pivotal role in developing and implementing technical strategies, standards, and best practices to enhance system performance and reliability. Additionally, these leads collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with organizational goals, manage technical risks, and drive continuous improvement in IT operations. Their responsibilities include mentoring junior team members, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. Experience in IT infrastructure management, project leadership, and a strong understanding of emerging technologies are essential for this role.
