This role blends videography and video editing, producing polished content for training initiatives, fundraising campaigns, brand communications, and marketing—all with a focus on amplifying the stories of farmers, particularly women and youth, to drive meaningful impact. The position requires a strategic blend of storytelling, social behavior change techniques, and marketing expertise to craft compelling narratives that highlight One Acre Fund’s transformative work at both individual and generational levels. Key Responsibilities: – Filming & Production: Capture high-quality, emotionally resonant video and audio using DSLR and smartphone cameras; coordinate and lead shoots across all operational countries in collaboration with local teams. – Editing & Post-Production: Develop storyboards and scripts aligned with project briefs; subtitle videos in seven or more languages; adapt footage for varied purposes; and create custom motion graphics that maintain brand consistency. – Interviewing & Story Development: Research, identify, and refine powerful field stories based on briefs; conduct interviews that extract authentic, emotive responses to propel narrative arcs; analyze farmer reports to conceptualize and refine story structures, then craft targeted interviews to bring them to life. – Systems & Operations: Oversee freelance teams or donor-affiliated crews during shoots; maintain and organize One Acre Fund’s video archives and footage libraries; establish and manage a proactive video production schedule to ensure stakeholder visibility into upcoming content.
