Your primary responsibility will be capturing authentic farmer stories that illustrate the profound, multi-generational effects of our programs. Key Responsibilities – Production: Capture visually compelling, emotionally resonant video and audio content using DSLR and smartphone cameras; coordinate and lead video shoots across all operational countries in collaboration with local teams. – Editing: Develop storyboards and scripts aligned with project briefs; subtitle videos in seven or more languages; adapt existing footage for multiple formats; and design bespoke motion graphics that maintain brand consistency. – Story Development & Interviewing: Identify and cultivate impactful field stories based on provided briefs; conduct interviews that elicit authentic, emotive narratives to advance story progression; analyze farmer reports to conceptualize potential story arcs and refine interview strategies accordingly. – Systems Management: Oversee freelance teams or donor-led crews during shoots as needed; curate and maintain One Acre Fund’s video archives and footage repositories; establish and manage the organization’s video production calendar to ensure transparency for stakeholders.
