Responsabilités : Le titulaire du poste est le principal spécialiste des affaires politiques de l'ambassade, conseillant principalement le chef de mission et la section Politique/Économique. Il est responsable de la production de rapports analytiques sensibles, urgents et complexes, ainsi que de la collecte d'informations sur les questions politiques et sociales. Il assure un briefing quotidien au chef de mission sur ces sujets. Il propose et supervise la mise en œuvre des visites de haut niveau. Toutes ces responsabilités sont équivalentes à celles d'un employé direct américain. Le titulaire relève du conseiller politique et économique adjoint et est évalué par le conseiller.

Qualifications requises : Tous les candidats sélectionnés doivent être en mesure d'obtenir et de détenir une habilitation de sécurité Public Trust. Ils seront soumis à une enquête de sécurité et pourront être soumis à un examen médical préalable à l'emploi. Le candidat sélectionné doit pouvoir commencer à travailler dans un délai raisonnable après réception de l'autorisation de l'agence et/ou des habilitations/certifications, faute de quoi sa candidature pourrait être annulée. Expérience : Cinq ans d'expérience progressive dans un domaine juridique, politique, économique ou journalistique mozambicain où la recherche et l'analyse politiques constituent une caractéristique principale du travail requis.

Formation : Diplôme universitaire en sciences politiques, relations internationales, journalisme, histoire ou droit international requis.

Important : Les candidats USEFM qui se déclarent anciens combattants américains avec préférence doivent soumettre une copie de leur DD-214 (certificat de libération ou de décharge du service actif), de préférence la copie membre 4, une lettre du ministère des Anciens Combattants indiquant l'existence actuelle d'un handicap lié au service, un document équivalent ou une certification. Une certification est tout document écrit des forces armées certifiant que le militaire devrait être libéré ou déchargé du service actif dans les 120 jours suivant la soumission de la certification par le candidat. La lettre de certification doit être sur papier à en-tête de la branche militaire appropriée et contenir (1) les dates de service militaire, y compris la date de libération prévue, et (2) le caractère du service. Une documentation acceptable doit être soumise pour que la préférence soit appliquée. Ce niveau de préférence s'applique à tous les employés FS en LWOP et CS avec droits de réemploi dans leur agence ou bureau.

Les éléments suivants s'appliquent uniquement aux EFM, USEFM et AEFM : Les employés actuels qui ont utilisé une préférence d'embauche pour obtenir un emploi et qui sont dans leurs 90 premiers jours calendaires d'emploi ne sont pas éligibles. Cela ne s'applique pas lorsque le mécanisme d'embauche est TEMP ou que le calendrier de travail est intermittent ou irrégulier.
