Job Context
Reporting to the Software Development Manager, you will work from the Kampala office.
Responsibilities
Develop software code for Stre@mline projects. Review and fix bugs in developed software. Test code and ensure it passes required tests. Deploy developed code to selected deployment platforms. Prepare documentation for developed code. Be an active contributor to the software development team.
Desired Profile
2 to 3 years of software development experience with the Laravel PHP framework. GitHub portfolio of completed Laravel projects. BSc./Degree in Software Engineering. Experience with AI coding tools, e.g., Claude, Cursor, etc. In-depth knowledge of MySQL and relational databases. Experience with code management tools, e.g., Git. Experience with Agile software development practices. Willingness to continuously learn and grow. Women are encouraged to apply.

Contract type: Full-time. Location: Kampala, Uganda. Salary: USh 1,000,000 - 1,500,000. Language: English. Experience level: Intermediate. Required experience: 2 years. Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree.
