PR and Influencer Marketing Intern
Company: Jiji MarketPlace Limited
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Contract Type: Internship / Graduate
Salary: USh 500,000 - 1,000,000 (negotiable) + commission
Experience: None / less than one year
Language: English
Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree
We are looking for a responsible and diligent person to join us as an Influencer Marketing Intern, who understands how to launch lead generation and brand awareness campaigns with nano-, micro-, and macro-influencers.
What you will do:
● Research brand ambassadors on social media (Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok) who align with the brand's values and target audience.
● Continuously communicate and review content ideas proposed by ambassadors to ensure alignment with the brand's image and positioning.
● Monitor content publication according to the schedule and agreement with each ambassador.
● Regularly analyze the market and track the brand's competitors to stay informed about industry trends and consumer preferences.
● Develop a strategy and prepare all necessary documents for upcoming campaigns.
You are a good candidate if you have:
● Excellent communication skills.
● Proficiency in spoken and written English.
● Great presentation, content writing, and reporting skills.
● Good social media skills.
● A desire to grow in PR and marketing.
● Proficiency in Google Suite tools (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.).
● The ability to manage multiple tasks.
● A recent degree in communication, PR, or marketing will be an added advantage.
