Operations Manager
We are recruiting an Operations Manager for our establishment located in the Central Region, Ghana. This is a full-time permanent position (8am-5pm) in the hospitality and catering sector.
Job Context
The Operations Manager oversees daily operations, staff management, customer experience, sales, marketing, and financial management of the establishment.
Main Responsibilities
Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices. Manage daily operations, staff, and departments. Ensure compliance with legal, health, and safety regulations. Improve customer service quality and satisfaction. Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation. Collaborate with various departments as well as suppliers and service providers. Monitor performance, provide coaching, training, and feedback. Optimize workflows and processes. Drive sales, occupancy rates, and marketing initiatives. Ensure sustainability practices and compliance. Handle customer complaints and organize events. Prepare operational and management reports.
Desired Profile
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in hospitality, including at least 3 years in a management position. Experience managing a mid-sized hotel is an asset. Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Financial and budgeting skills. Proficiency in hotel management systems, including Airbnb, Booking.com, etc. Other: Willingness to live within 30 minutes of the workplace. Passion for ecotourism and sustainability. Any other related tasks deemed necessary.
