Jobberman Third Party is recruiting an Executive Assistant for its Accra office. This permanent, full-time position (8am-5pm) is based in the Accra & Tema region, in the banking, finance, and insurance sector.
Job Context
Provide proactive executive, strategic, and administrative support to the Managing Director, ensuring the effective functioning of the Executive Office and coordination of key company priorities. The role serves as a trusted partner to the Managing Director by managing executive schedules, coordinating strategic initiatives, facilitating communication with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring timely follow-up on critical decisions and projects that support the achievement of the company's strategic objectives.
Main Responsibilities
Provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Managing Director, including managing schedules, meetings, correspondence, and travel. Coordinate meetings of the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and management, including agendas, documentation, minutes, and follow-up on action items. Support the execution of the company's strategic priorities by tracking initiatives, monitoring progress, and coordinating cross-functional activities. Prepare executive reports, presentations, dashboards, and briefing documents to inform decision-making. Coordinate engagements with key stakeholders, including regulators, Hollard International, brokers, reinsurers, business partners, and other strategic stakeholders. Conduct research and analyze business and industry trends to provide insights supporting strategic initiatives. Coordinate special projects and transformation initiatives assigned by the Managing Director. Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and efficiency in managing the Executive Office.
Desired Profile
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, insurance, or a related discipline. A relevant professional qualification or certification (e.g., in insurance, project management, business analysis, corporate governance, or insurance) will be an added advantage. Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in executive support, executive office management, or activity coordination, including at least 3 years supporting a Managing Director or other senior executive. Experience in coordinating executive meetings, board or committee activities, strategic projects, and stakeholder engagements. Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills. Strong professional writing, report preparation, and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with Power BI and other productivity tools will be an advantage. Experience level: Senior.
