TEF Canada Expert & Curriculum Lead
Study4AS is seeking an experienced TEF Canada/French exam expert to lead the design and implementation of our AI-powered TEF preparation program. You will create curriculum, learning content, mock exams, and live courses to help learners improve their French proficiency and achieve their study, work, and immigration goals.
Job Context
This position is remote (work from in Nigeria, under a flexible part-time contract. Compensation is between 400,000 and 600,000 NGN.
Responsibilities
Design a comprehensive TEF Canada preparation program covering listening, reading, speaking, and writing. Develop structured study plans for learners from beginner to advanced levels. Create lessons, quizzes, assignments, vocabulary exercises, grammar resources, pronunciation activities, and full mock exams. Facilitate engaging online French classes and conversation practice sessions. Assess learners according to TEF Canada evaluation criteria and provide detailed feedback. Create model answers, study resources, and exam preparation strategies. Review AI-generated French learning content for accuracy, quality, and relevance. Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to enhance AI-powered French learning features. Track learner performance and continuously improve course content. Mentor future TEF Canada instructors as the program grows.
Required Profile
Bachelor's degree in French, education, linguistics, modern languages, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching French, preferably including TEF Canada preparation. Excellent spoken and written French. Strong understanding of the TEF Canada exam structure, scoring criteria, and Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB/NCLC). Experience teaching adults in an online environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience creating educational content, practice questions, and mock exams. Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Desired Skills
FLE, FSL, or equivalent certification in teaching French. DELF, DALF, or other recognized French qualification. Experience preparing learners for Canadian immigration language requirements. Experience in digital learning content development. Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar. Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS). Experience recording educational videos. Experience teaching Nigerian, African, or international learners preparing for study, work, or migration pathways.
