As a Communication & Partnerships Officer, you will contribute to the achievement of the Country Office's partnership, visibility and resource mobilization priorities. The purpose of the post is to contribute to the effective implementation of the Country Office's partnership and communication strategies to support enhanced visibility and public positioning of UNICEF; support the development and strengthening of partnerships; and contribute to advocacy efforts and resource mobilization initiatives. The incumbent contributes to (but does not lead) the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of integrated communication and partnership activities, ensuring alignment with UNICEF's strategic priorities at country and global levels.

Formation / Diplômes

Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Communications, education, journalism, public relations, political science, international development and any other related fields.

Expérience

At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Communication,Partnerships, strategic communications, media relations, public relations, advocacy, stakeholder engagement, donor relations, resource mobilization, content development, government relations. and any other related fields.

Strong skills in Communication, Partnership Development, Resource Mobilization, Negotiation Skills, Policy Analysis, and Stakeholder Management are required. Language Requirements: Fluency in French is required with English knowledge. Desirables Language: Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language Good knowledge of International Development, Policies and Procedures, Donor Relations, Public Affairs, Media Relations, and UN Coordination is considered an asset. Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
