The P-3 Emergency Specialist (Resilience Coordinator) will provide technical support to UNICEF's Country Office and partners in resilience programming in Niger. This role involves designing and implementing community resilience programs, leading capacity-building initiatives, and conducting risk assessments. The coordinator will also represent UNICEF in strategic meetings with various stakeholders. The position aims to enhance the capacity of communities to adapt and thrive amidst challenges such as climate disruptions and insecurity. Master's degree in social sciences or related fields At least 5 years of experience in resilience and disaster risk reduction Knowledge of resilience, DRR, and climate change adaptation Ability to coordinate multi-sectoral programming Strong analytical skills Excellent communication skills in French and English
