Solar PV Technician / Electrical Technician

Betech Solar Solutions recherche un technicien solaire photovoltaïque motivé et compétent pour rejoindre notre équipe technique en pleine croissance. Le candidat retenu sera responsable de l'installation, de la mise en service, du dépannage et de la maintenance de systèmes solaires résidentiels, commerciaux et industriels à travers le Kenya.

Réaliser des études de site et des évaluations énergétiques. Installer des panneaux solaires, des structures de montage, des batteries, des onduleurs hybrides et les accessoires associés. Effectuer le câblage électrique AC et DC conformément aux normes kenyanes. Mettre en service et tester les nouveaux systèmes solaires installés. Diagnostiquer et réparer les défauts des systèmes photovoltaïques. Former les clients à l'utilisation et à l'entretien du système. Préparer des rapports d'installation et la documentation. Assurer la conformité avec les réglementations de l'EPRA et les procédures de sécurité de l'entreprise. Maintenir une conduite professionnelle lors des interventions chez les clients. Participer aux activités marketing de l'entreprise en apparaissant dans des vidéos d'installation, des présentations de projets, du contenu éducatif et des publications sur les réseaux sociaux lorsque nécessaire.

Licence valide de technicien solaire photovoltaïque EPRA (T1, T2 ou T3). Certificat ou diplôme en génie électrique, installation électrique, énergies renouvelables ou domaine connexe. Connaissance du câblage électrique domestique et commercial. Capacité à lire des schémas électriques et des diagrammes de câblage. Bonnes compétences en diagnostic et résolution de problèmes. Bonne condition physique et aptitude à travailler en hauteur. Volonté de voyager à travers le Kenya. Excellentes compétences en communication et service client. Honnête, fiable et capable de travailler de manière autonome ou en équipe. Un permis de conduire valide sera un atout supplémentaire.

Job Field Engineering / Technical Salary Range KSh 30,000 - KSh 50,000/month Betech Solar Solutions is seeking a motivated and skilled Solar PV Technician to join our growing technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of residential, commercial, and industrial solar power systems across Kenya. Key Responsibilities Conduct site surveys and energy assessments. Install solar panels, mounting structures, batteries, hybrid inverters, and associated accessories. Perform AC and DC electrical wiring in accordance with Kenyan standards. Commission and test newly installed solar systems. Troubleshoot and repair faults in solar PV systems. Provide customer training on system operation and maintenance. Prepare installation reports and documentation. Ensure compliance with EPRA regulations and company safety procedures. Maintain professional conduct while representing the company on customer sites.

Participate in company marketing activities by appearing in installation videos, project showcases, educational content, and social media posts when required.
Profil recherché
Valid EPRA Solar PV Technician Licence (T1, T2 or T3). Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Knowledge of domestic and commercial electrical wiring. Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Compétences requises
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Physically fit and comfortable working at heights. Willing to travel throughout Kenya. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Honest, reliable, and able to work independently or within a team. A valid driving licence will be an added advantage.
