Job Summary Dangote Cement Transport is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing construction projects that contribute to the infrastructural development and growth of our company. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and an understanding of safety regulations and quality standards within civil engineering. Duties and Responsibilities Develop detailed designs and plans for construction projects and infrastructure. Conduct site assessments and analyze project specifications and requirements. Manage and oversee the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure all aspects of a project align with overall goals. Prepare reports, proposals, and documentation for project updates and stakeholder meetings. Implement safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with construction projects. Education and Work Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Professional registration or certification is a plus. Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience in civil engineering Skills and Behaviors Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Proficiency in design and modeling software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.). Excellent project management capabilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
