Ecobank recrute is hiring a Travel and Logistics Supervisor Job level: 4 | Job grade: 3C Job context:
- Coordinating and setting priorities for EBS activities;
- Formulating and executing Logistics and transport strategies;
- Proactively seek out opportunities with major potential service providers;
- Foster transparent, constructive and collaborative relationships;
- Define business strategy and translate into measurable objectives and inspire others to achieve them;
- Supervising staff, contractors and service suppliers. Job purpose:
- Execution of Policy guidance on Logistics and Transport, Protocol and Events Management, Fleet and Fuel Management, Travel and Hotel Management;
- Effective execution of best practice policies and procedures for Logistics and Transport, Protocol and Events and Travel and Hotel Management for the affiliate;
- Managing Protocols and Events for the affiliate to deliver Value;
- Ensure standardization of Fleet and its management across the affiliate;
- Implement all cost savings initiatives from Group Logistics and Transport;
- Explore the best and cost-effective air travel for the affiliate;
- Manage the affiliate's Fleet in a most cost-effective manner on a consistent basis;
- Providing the required logistics and transport for ECOBANK's operation in the affiliates;
- Managing Fuel usage across the affiliate;
- Ensure all the affiliates events are managed in a cost-effective manner;
- High level of professionalism and ethical dealings with all Customers and service providers. Key responsibilities:
- Executing, defining and giving effect to the EBS strategy, ensuring that there is a coordinated approach of integration locally within the EBS community;
- Manage and co-ordinate Logistics and Transport across the affiliate group to ensure maximum benefit;
- Identify and develop key Airlines and airline agents and track their performance and capability and advice Group EBS accordingly;
- Exploring, identifying and tracking areas of savings in events management, Fleet management, airline ticking and fuel management;
- Engaging, influencing and working well with the Country EBS Heads and other business Heads in the affiliates;
- Providing ongoing identification, analysis and approvals for planning and execution of new projects and initiatives to reduce costs.
Experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Logistics and transport;
Expérience
- Minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification experience;
- Membership in any recognized professional bodies in Logistics, and transport Procurement will be an added advantage.

- Reviewing logistics and transport spend and provide strategies to reduce costs;
Formation / Diplômes
- Ensure timely reporting on all travels, events, hotels and cost information on all Logistics and transport across Group EBS;
- Ensure efficient utilization of company transport and logistics;
- Recruitment of all Protocol officers and Logistics and Transport Managers in the affiliates;
- Training, development and motivation of Logistics and transport staff;
- Identify and mitigate operational risks;
Responsabilités
- Any other duties that will be assigned by Group Manager – Logistics and Transport and Country Head EBS from time to time.
