Job Description JOB GRADE: B4/B5 REPORTS TO (FUNCTIONAL) BTS OpCo Head- Life JOB PURPOSE Lead the Demand and Delivery team in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance applications that supports business objectives. Further lead technical initiatives, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and third parties to deliver impactful software solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leads the end-to-end delivery of software solutions by managing the full software development lifecycle from demand intake and requirements analysis to design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. Translates business needs into technical solutions, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of scalable web, mobile, and desktop applications. Designs and implements robust architectures, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and optimized database schemas, to support business systems. Lead in writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, while enforcing best practices in security, performance, and compliance across the team. Mentors junior developers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen team capabilities. Proactively evaluates emerging technologies and drives continuous improvement across platforms and processes to enhance system reliability, scalability, and innovation. Required Skills or Experience TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology Minimum of 5 years’ experience in any functional area or its equivalent.
