Job Summary

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the storage, inventory, and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and supplies used in the company's project sites.

This role ensures that inventory levels are maintained, records are accurate, and materials are available for use when needed, supporting the efficient operation of the company.

Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage.

Verify delivery notes and purchase orders against received items.

Report any discrepancies or damages to the Site Manager and coordinate with suppliers for resolution.

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.

Organize and maintain the storage area to ensure easy access and efficient space utilization.

Ensure that materials and supplies are stored in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Issue materials, tools, and equipment to staff as required.

Maintain accurate records of issued items, including date, quantity, and recipient.

Coordinate the timely distribution of materials to various project sites.

Prepare and submit regular inventory reports to the Site Manager.

Collaborate with procurement and project management teams to forecast inventory needs.

Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Requirements

Candidates should possess an ND / NCE or its equivalent with 2-10 year experience.

Proven experience as a storekeeper, inventory officer, or in a similar role.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards related to inventory management.
