Expert Application Advice
What this role involves
As a Buckle Messenger, you’ll be the reliable link between senders and recipients, handling package pickups, deliveries, and basic administrative tasks across designated routes in Nigeria. Your day-to-day includes verifying addresses, ensuring timely drop-offs, and maintaining clear communication with the dispatch office. Expect a mix of outdoor mobility and simple record-keeping.
Key skills to highlight
Showcase your punctuality, route planning ability, and basic numeracy for handling delivery logs. Strong knowledge of local roads (especially in Lagos or your city) is critical. Highlight any experience with bike or scooter riding, plus a clean driving record if applicable. Customer service and problem-solving on the go will set you apart.
Taf4All CV tip
List your delivery experience as a “Route Efficiency & Timeliness” section. Use bullet points to show metrics, e.g., “Completed 20+ daily drops with 98% on-time rate.” Include your mode of transport (bike, car) and mention familiarity with GPS apps like Google Maps. Keep it one page.
Before you apply
Verify the employer’s identity—check HotNigerianJobs for direct contact details. Never pay for a job offer or “registration fee.” Legitimate messenger roles don’t require upfront money for uniforms or training. Confirm the office location in Nigeria before sharing personal data.
🎯 Make your application ATS-ready
ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) are the software recruiters use to automatically filter CVs before any human reads them. Our CV builder is specifically designed to pass these filters — and it takes under 3 minutes.

- •Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
- •Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
- •Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
- •Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
- •Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
- •A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
