Quality Control Officer Job Type Full Time , Onsite Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 5 - 10 years Location Lagos Job Field Engineering / Technical   Salary Range ₦300,000 - ₦400,000/month Job Summary Watershows Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Officer to ensure that all construction projects (swimming pools, spas, waterfalls, and fountains) meet established quality standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will oversee project execution, inspect materials and workmanship, and ensure compliance with safety and quality benchmarks. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections on construction sites to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards. Monitor all phases of swimming pool, spa, waterfall, and fountain construction. Ensure materials used meet required quality specifications and standards. Identify defects, deviations, or non-conformance issues and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to maintain quality benchmarks. Prepare and maintain detailed quality control reports and documentation. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Review project plans and specifications to ensure quality requirements are clearly defined. Conduct final inspections and ensure projects meet client expectations before handover. Assist in developing and improving quality control processes and procedures. Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in construction quality control (experience in pool/spa construction is an added advantage). Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality standards. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for reporting and documentation. Work Schedule Employees are required to work from Monday to Saturday, with one Saturday off each month.
