The teacher will deliver lessons in core subjects, create a positive learning environment, and help students develop foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking. Min Qualification: Diploma Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: 2 years Job descriptions & requirements Key Responsibilities Instruction and Lesson Delivery Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the school curriculum. Teach core subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, and other assigned subjects. Use a variety of teaching methods to support different learning styles and abilities. Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials for effective classroom instruction. Assessment and Monitoring Prepare and administer classwork, homework, quizzes, and tests. Assess student performance and provide feedback to support improvement. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress. Classroom Management Create and maintain a safe, positive, and organized classroom environment. Encourage active participation and engagement in learning activities. Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to school rules. Student Support and Development Support the academic, social, and emotional development of students. Provide additional help to students who require academic support. Encourage good study habits, responsibility, and respect. Professional Responsibilities Attend staff meetings and participate in school activities and professional development sessions. Collaborate with other teachers to improve teaching and learning outcomes. Communicate with parents regarding student progress when necessary. Qualifications A university degree or diploma in Education, or a related field, is required. Skills and Competencies Strong communication and teaching skills. Ability to work effectively with young children. Good classroom management and organizational skills. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching. Experience Previous teaching experience in a primary school is an advantage.
