ACCOUNTS OFFICER

Job Description: A marketing communications company located in Accra seeks the services of a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join its finance team. Role Summary The Accounts Officer will support day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate records, and assist with basic reporting and cost tracking across projects. Key Responsibilities Record daily financial transactions (sales, expenses, payments) Maintain proper accounting records and filing systems Reconcile bank, cash, and mobile money accounts Support accounts receivable follow-ups and basic collections Assist with supplier payments and expense tracking Support project cost tracking and basic analysis Assist in preparing monthly financial reports Ensure proper documentation for compliance and audits Collaboration The holder of this role shall collaborate effectively with the; Outdoor, Production, and Marketing/Sales departments for service delivery. Reporting Line Reports directly to the Accounts/Finance Manager

First Degree in Accounting

Expérience

Minimum of 3 years relevant experience Basic knowledge of Ghanaian tax regulations and accounting principles

Proficiency in Tally accounting software

Strong attention to detail Good communication and follow-up skills Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure High level of integrity and professionalism
