Description

Formation / Diplômes

Advanced University Degree (minimum master’s level) from a reputable institution in water, sanitation,engineering, education, health, nutrition, planning, business, economics, development, law or related field.

Expérience

• At least five years of professional experience in environmental and social safeguards
• At least three years of experience in the planning, screening, implementation, quality assurance, project risk categorization and/or monitoring of environmental and social safeguards for major bilateral/multilateral donors
• Demonstrated experience in the areas of Complaints and Feedback Management, Information Disclosure and Stakeholders Engagement.

Demonstrated understanding of ESS requirements of different donors

• Demonstrated experience applying ESS systems to at least one of the following UNICEF programming sectors: WASH, Health, Education, and/or Nutrition
• including when these entail construction/rehabilitation components
• Demonstrated experience applying SES systems to humanitarian and/or development programming contexts
• Fluent in at least one UN language (appropriate for the selected region)
