Expérience

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable professional to manage end-to-end vendor payment processes, ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations, and support financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Accounts Payable functions within a manufacturing environment and hands-on experience with ERP systems. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Operations Process, verify, and record vendor invoices, debit notes, and credit notes accurately and on time. Ensure timely payment to suppliers, contractors, and service providers. Perform three-way matching of Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), and vendor invoices. Prepare and execute payment runs through banking channels such as NEFT, RTGS, wire transfers, and cheques. Monitor vendor aging and maintain healthy supplier relationships. Reconciliation & Compliance Reconcile vendor accounts periodically and investigate/resolve discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of advances, accruals, and outstanding liabilities. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal control procedures. Handle GST-related accounting entries, Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation, and purchase-related tax compliance.

Manage TDS accounting and related statutory requirements as applicable. Reporting & Closing Activities Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities. Prepare AP schedules, reconciliations, and management reports. Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax assessments by providing required documentation and explanations. Maintain proper documentation, filing systems, and audit trails for all transactions. Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinate closely with Procurement, Stores, Production, and Finance teams for invoice validation and issue resolution. Support process improvements and automation initiatives within the Accounts Payable function. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient payment processes. Qualifications & Experience CA Inter preferred; Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. 4–8 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting practices. Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, or similar platforms. Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including data analysis and reconciliation functions. Experience in vendor management and payment processing. Required Competencies
