VAWG Psychological First Aid Assistant

📌 ### 📌 The VAWG Psychological First Aid Assistant will provide frontline psychosocial support to women and girls affected by distress, crisis, or violence. This role focuses on early identification of needs and linking clients to health services, including mental health and psychosocial support. The Assistant will lead structured psychosocial support activities at Comprehensive Women Centers, ensuring interventions promote well-being and access to integrated health services. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality while supporting clients in accessing necessary health services. Diploma or University Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, Nursing, or related field 1-2 years’ experience in PFA or psychosocial support in humanitarian settings Strong understanding of Psychological First Aid and psychosocial support Knowledge of health systems and referral pathways Ability to support clients in accessing health services Strong interpersonal and communication skills Fluency in English and Hausa
