  • To lead Telecel Ghana’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Transformation (DT) agenda by driving the integration of telecom and fintech services, enhancing customer experience, digitizing operations, and unlocking new revenue streams through innovative digital and mobile money solutions. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Telecel Ghana’s digital transformation roadmap aligned to growth priorities (data, digital services, and Telecel Cash).
  • Transition the business from traditional telco to a digital-first, platform-driven organization.
  • Identify and commercialize new digital revenue streams beyond core voice/data.
  • Drive Telecel Ghana Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy
  • Drive integration between telecom services and Telecel Cash (mobile money platform).
  • Lead digitization of financial services (payments, remittances, merchant services, micro-lending, airtime/data bundling via wallet).
  • Collaborate with financial institutions, fintechs, and regulators (Bank of Ghana compliant).
  • Enhance adoption and performance of Telecel Play App & Web, Chatbot and other digital channels.
  • Lead end-to-end customer journey redesign across Digital, Airtime/data purchase, Mobile money transactions
  • Drive development of new digital products such as Digital lending and saving, Merchant and SME solutions , Content and lifestyle services (bundled offers
  • Automate backend processes (e.g., onboarding, KYC, customer support, reconciliation).
  • Reduce operational costs through digitization of customer interactions and service delivery.
  • Enable data-driven decision-making across commercial and operational teams.
  • Promote API ecosystem to enable partnerships with fintechs, aggregators, and developers.
  • Support migration to cloud-enabled and scalable architectures.
  • Drive a digital culture transformation across Telecel Ghana.

Expérience

Qualification Required & Experience Must have Technical / Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 8–12 years in telecom, fintech, or digital transformation roles
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale transformation initiative
  • Have a background providing strategic, analytical and research insights. In addition, you will have a very structured approach in your thinking and communication.
  • Experience working in a Digital native, Tech, or Start-up company
