Expérience

We are currently seeking an experienced Hazmat Supervisor to be based in Mossel Bay. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising hazardous-material handling activities linked to a dam treatment project, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently, and in full compliance with site procedures and applicable environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate teams working with hazardous materials on-site. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and Hazmat procedures. Monitor and oversee the operation of pumps and related equipment used in the treatment process. Ensure correct use of PPE and adherence to safe work practices. Report incidents, hazards, and non-conformances and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate records and site documentation. Liaise with site management, contractors, and project stakeholders.
