The Governing Council of Evangelical Presbyterian (E.P) College of Education, Amedzofe is inviting application from suitably qualified and competent persons for the position of Principal of E.P College of Education, Amedzofe. The Position The Principal is THE Chief Executive Officer of the College and is responsible for providing strategic leadership, academic and administrative direction for the smooth operation of the college

Responsabilités

The successful applicant shall:

• Provide leadership for the achievement of the college's vision and mission
• Oversee the administration of academic programmes and ensure quality teacher education
• Ensure high academic standards and quality assurance
• Supervise curriculum development and programme accreditation
• Promote innovation in teaching methods and educational delivery
• Manage human, financial and material resources of the college
• Promote research, innovation and community engagement
• Ensure discipline and compliance with statutes, policies and regulations
• Represent the college in all official matters

Expérience

Qualification Required & Experience The applicant must:

• Be a distinguished scholar
• Be of a Professorial rank
• Have a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) or equivalent qualification in the relevant area of specialisation
• Have a minimum of 10 years teaching and research experience
• A minimum of 5 years in a senior management position
• Show evidence of scholarly research and publications

Possess strong leadership, administrative and communicative skills

• Demonstrate the ability to foster partnership with stakeholders both within and outside Ghana
• Have experience in resource mobilization and fund raising
• Have the ability to manage human, financial and physical resources of the college
• Be capable of inspiring staff and students
• Be of high moral value and integrity Terms Of Appointment The appointment is for a term of 4 years, renewable subject to satisfactory performance for another 4 year term only.
