We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: IT Engineer Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full Time Responsibilities Monitor and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure (servers, applications, storage, virtualization, and core services). Provide L2/L3 support, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance optimization. Implement proactive monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and reliability. Infrastructure & Virtualization Management Deploy, configure, and maintain virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V) and Windows Server systems. Perform capacity planning, patch management, and backup/restore operations. Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives. Manage and troubleshoot LAN/WAN environments, including switches, routers, and firewalls. Apply network security best practices, including VPNs, segmentation, and access controls. Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with policies and standards. Administer and support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and Office 365 services. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across enterprise systems. Provide advanced support for email, collaboration tools, and enterprise applications. Documentation & Continuous Improvement Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles for IT operations. Contribute to automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks. Identify opportunities for infrastructure optimization and modernization. Requirements Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure/system administration roles. Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, VMware/Hyper-V, and enterprise networking. Experience with Office 365, Active Directory, Exchange, and related enterprise services. Practical understanding of network security concepts, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting methodologies.
