Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) is a global research and policy nonprofit organization dedicated to discovering and advancing effective solutions to poverty. Founded in 2002 by economist Dean Karlan, IPA collaborates with over 400 leading academics to design and conduct rigorous evaluations of development programs worldwide.
