Read more about this company Accounts Officer Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 1 - 3 years Location Lagos City Yaba Job Field Finance / Accounting / Audit   Job Description We are on the hunt for a smart, highly analytical and qualified Accounts Officer to join our team. In this pivotal position, your duties will include the following: Posting standard journal entries, Managing and reconciling Health Management Organization (HMO) claims and receivables, Reconciling payables and bank activities, Monitoring financial transactions, Assisting with budgets, Participating in audits, and serving as the primary liaison between the hospital and HMO partners to ensure prompt and accurate payments. Requirements To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of financial policies, procedures, and systems. In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate must be a detailed person with outstanding analytical and time management abilities. Candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and at least one accounting software (preferably Sage ERP). Qualifications: Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting or Finance with 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes. Proven experience in HMO claims management, reconciliation, and liaison within a healthcare setting is essential.
