The Data Specialist will support the Central African Forest Initiative (CAFI) by enhancing data architecture and governance for effective program management and monitoring. This role involves managing analytical systems, ensuring data quality, and producing insights to inform decision-making. The Data Specialist will also develop digital tools for data visualization and risk monitoring, contributing to the overall performance of CAFI's portfolio. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to align data systems with CAFI's objectives. Advanced university degree in Data Science, Environmental Science, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in Monitoring & Evaluation or related fields Proficiency in PowerBI and current software (ArcGIS, QGIS, MS Office) Experience with monitoring systems and digital tools Fluency in French; working knowledge of English desired
