The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Local Consultant to support the establishment of Local Technical Committees (LTCs) on Migration in selected areas of Ghana. The consultant will coordinate the LTC secretariat, ensuring effective migration management through collaboration with local authorities and stakeholders. Responsibilities include developing operational tools, facilitating meetings, and monitoring LTC performance. The role requires a strong background in migration governance and local governance systems. University degree in Migration Studies or related field Minimum five years of experience in migration governance or related areas Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder technical committees Knowledge of local government systems in Ghana Strong understanding of labour migration governance Proven experience in facilitation and stakeholder engagement Excellent communication and writing skills Fluency in English; local language knowledge is an advantage
