Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields4 - 6 years experience in automobile repair and maintenance, with 1 - 2 years in a supervisory roleStrong knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, braking systems)Experience using computerized diagnostic tools and equipmentAbility to lead and manage a team effectivelyStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsGood communication and reporting skills. RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise daily workshop activities and ensure timely completion of vehicle repairs and maintenancePerform advanced diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systemsAssign tasks to technicians and monitor work quality and productivityInspect completed jobs to ensure compliance with quality and safety standardsDevelop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for various vehicle typesTroubleshoot complex faults in engines, transmissions, braking, suspension, and electrical systemsMaintain accurate service records, job cards, and maintenance logsEnsure proper use of diagnostic tools and workshop equipmentEnforce HSE policies and maintain a safe working environmentTrain and mentor junior technicians to improve skill levels and performanceLiaise with customers or service advisors to provide technical feedback and repair updatesMonitor inventory of spare parts and coordinate with procurement when necessary.
