CFAs: Stabilization Micro-Grants for War-Affected MSMEs and Cooperatives (Lebanon) Deadline Date:  May 22, 2026 The Stabilization Micro-Grants programme has launched to support Lebanese-owned MSMEs and cooperatives in recovering from the economic and operational impacts of the 2026 war across Lebanon.

The focus areas, include economic recovery, business stabilization, productive capacity restoration, employment support, local economic rebuilding, operational recovery, working capital support, inventory restocking, raw materials, renewable energy systems, equipment rehabilitation, agricultural inputs, agri-food processing, manufacturing, tourism, retail and trade, services, crafts, ICT, construction, education, health, cooperative recovery, rural value chains, and technical support for business continuity. The programme is part of UNDP Lebanon’s stabilization response and aims to assist conflict-affected businesses and cooperatives in restoring operations and rebuilding livelihoods. The initiative targets Lebanese-owned Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises as well as formally registered cooperatives operating across all eight governorates of Lebanon. Eligible MSMEs must be formally registered with the Commercial Register and Ministry of Finance and demonstrate that they were affected by the 2026 war through revenue decline, physical damage, workforce reduction, or operational disruption. The programme is open to enterprises operating in productive sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, retail, tourism, education, health, ICT, and construction. Eligible cooperatives must be formally registered with the General Directorate of Cooperatives under the Ministry of Agriculture. Priority will be given to cooperatives operating in conflict-affected areas, particularly those active in agriculture, livestock, agri-food processing, crafts, and rural value chains. The programme provides stabilization micro-grants of up to USD 6,000 for each selected MSME or cooperative. Funding will be disbursed in two tranches, with 70 percent released upon approval and the remaining 30 percent provided after verified proof of  expenditure . Grant funding may be used for operational recovery needs such as utilities, wages, raw materials, and inventory restocking, as well as for equipment, machinery, renewable energy systems, agricultural inputs, solar panels, batteries, and minor rehabilitation works. Selected applicants will also receive technical support throughout the application and implementation process, including monitoring and verification visits to support effective project delivery and recovery efforts.
