The Financial Manager will manage all reporting cycles, ensuring accurate and timely financial results aligned with accounting standards. They will uphold the integrity of financial records by overseeing ledger management, reconciliations, intercompany processes, and statutory submissions. The role includes maintaining strong internal controls, coordinating annual audits, and ensuring governance frameworks remain updated and consistently applied. The Financial Manager will also steer capitalâplanning activities, support liquidity forecasting, and contribute to effective workingâcapital management. In addition, this role leads a small finance team, drives performance and development, and collaborates closely with operational and support departments to align financial insights with business needs.

Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail Confident communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly Proficient in ERP systems, with exposure to JDE considered advantageous Advanced Excel capability, including financial modelling proficiency Able to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fastâpaced, productionâdriven environment Demonstrated leadership ability with sound judgment and problemâsolving skills

Expérience

Proven experience leading finance teams Minimum 5 years experience in financial management within a manufacturing/retail environment Qualification: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Professional qualification such as CA(SA) or CIMA
